This page is dedicated to the ego-centric life form that is a small bird called Mofu. His adventures above the small town of Nakano are legendary.

Who is Mofu chan?
Mofu chan is a noisy, bitey, feisty annoying love bird that rules my life, or at least he likes to think he does.
Lumpy Custard Face He looks innocent enough, but I have lots of bite marks that prove otherwise. He has many aliases. Mofuchowsky Flemicoff III is his full title, he assumed the name Mofu Mofu when he moved to Japan which roughly translated is ‘fluffy’ which was a deliberate ruse in order to fool locals into believing he is cute and lovable.
His mafia name is Lumpy Custard Face, after the big yellow blob on his head.
He has a love of socks and loves to hide in them, he will chase feet al.ong the floor, and has not learned even after being trodden on, accidentally (honest!). He dislikes anyone touching him at all (which shows his neurodivergent nature) and will bite any hand that passes by.
On this page I will attempt to share updates of his antics and exploits.
This is his home, from here he has, on a clear day, a perfect view of Mount Fuji although he is obsessed with human activity and barely looks at his amazing view.
A tour of his crib reveals a bed (he likes to poop on) a swing (he likes to poop from) and two bells, which he aggressively rings when he wants attention. The small cage to the right is for when he goes on trips.
His favorite food is sunflower seed and apple slice, his major dislikes are too numerous to list.
He listens to the calls of birds outside and attempts to introduce himself with his call ‘piddy puri’ but so far they ignore him, probably for the best as he is no match for some of the crows that rule the skies.
All this said, he returns to my shoulder whenever scared and expresses affection by nibbling my ear.
